Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible performing on site troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, parts replacement on a variety of gates & access control systems.
Essential Duties and Functions
- Provides a positive and excellent customer service to both residential and commercial customers.
- Diagnoses issues, perform repair or and installation.
- Performs all necessary preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Welding
- low-voltage wiring.
- Ensures all workplace clean and health, safety requirements are met.
- Maintains housekeeping and security of customer job sites.
- Manages work van inventory and partners with office manager order or purchase specialized equipment, missing parts, and other components and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- Technical skills.
- Education and/or experience equivalent a High School diploma and 2 or more years working with gate operators, electronic controls, or other low-voltage electrical systems, or similar trade-related experience.
- Basic welding knowledge.
- At least 2 year of field service-related experience.
- Able to operate big motor vehicle for extended periods of time. (Cargo Van)
- Clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Able to push/pull/lift up to 60 lbs. Able to stand, climb, walk, kneel, and crouch frequently, as required.
